Step 1: Design Excellence
We pride ourselves on listening...and providing you with the pool design of your dreams. Based on your wishes and the measurements of your home, we create an initial design.

Step 2: Grading
Once the design meets with your approval, we begin grading. The photo to the right shows the excavation of a typical pool.

Step 3: Plumbing, Wiring, and Rebar
All Sunset pools are built to exceed code compliance. The plumbing is implemented so that the equipment can operate at optimal, not minimal, capacity.

Step 4: Gunnite
Sunset pools use gunnite, or "shot-crete" which is designed to act like stucco over the rebar pool framing.

Step 5: Hardscape Artistry
Once the pool is stabilized with gunnite, Sunset artisans set the forms and begin pouring and sculpting the rest of the pool decking, hardscape, and water features.

Step 6: Finishing Touches
Depending on your design, Sunset artisans may create built-in cooking areas, a fire pit, fire place, or sculpted stone grotto. When al of the hardscape features are complete, plants and irrigation systems are installed.

Step 7: Your First Pool Party!
Before you know it, your backyard paradise is ready to enjoy.
